Description

Would you like to accept, edit, and return student papers so that your students can see your comments — all on-line?

MS Word allows multiple users to edit the same document while enabling users to keep track of changes to a document by author or by document version.   Additionally, reviewer comments can be inserted into a document.  Ultimately, the user can consolidate changes or comments into a final document.

Here is an example of the process:

  • students email their papers to you;
  • you read them and edit them using the Word ‘tracking" feature;
  • email the paper back to your students – they can see all of your comments embedded in their paper in a different colored text;
  • your students read your comments, make changes and then email it to you again.

This process can be repeated as many times as you like.
