Adding Text Boxes to a Slide
 

Step one:

Click on the Text Box icon in the tool bar.


 

Step two:

Place your cursor over the slide and drag

Step three:

If the box you create isn't in the desired location place your mouse on one of the edges, wait for it to turn into a small hand, and then move the box by dragging it. 


 

Step four:

You can also resize the text box by clicking on one of the small squares and dragging.
